I am really finding my favorite knives are fixed blade and under 4".

So far I have the ESEE 3, which is my favorite so far, the Fallkniven F1, and got a Rodent 3 and a Bark River knives on order.

Looking for more suggestions to research for potential purchases that fit that under 4" from you guys.

Thanks for any suggestions. Looking for fixed blade only.

Also have several blades in other length categories so not looking for different size ranges right now.

If you're on the verge of ordering multiple productions, you may as well have something made for you - that is, if you know what characteristics you want.

Big Chris can help. No affiliation, but he's made stuff for me.

Cold Steel Mini Pendleton Hunter. 3 inch, 3/16 inch thick VG-1 blade, kraton handle, great kydex sheath. Inexpensive at about $65CAN.

No worries, once you get your Bark Rivers, you will want more of them. Good thing they have many models in the 3-4" blade length to choose from!

Enzo Trapper, Gray Wolf Knives M4 and M7 (those are the two I've experienced), Dozier personal, BK24 + any number of knives from the makers that advertise on this site.

Cudeman MT-5 (Spanish maker, 5mm thick Böhler 690 steel for ~60€, got some nice reviews on Youtube)
Zero Tolerance 0121 (very short handle though)

Honestly, there's a boatload of great production knives in that range. Give us a few more specifics (price, steel choice, what do you use it for) please

I second the Bark River Gunny. Excellent knife, and does a lot for its size.

To help put some perspective on some of the knives mentioned (recycled pic from another post asking the same question)

From left to right: BK15, BK16, DPx HEFT4, ESEE4, Gray Wolves Knifes M7, Kellam Wolverine, Enzo Trapper, Bark River Gunny, BK11, Dozier Personal
Ignore the BK15, the blade length is out of the desired range (so is the BK16...but don't ignore that one, it's under 4.5 inches).
The Bark River Gunny that was mentioned above is a nice knife....but, for me, it loses points due to the handle size (or lack thereof).

Bark River Bravo 1 LT (thinner, lighter version), Bark River Gunny, Swamp Rat Rodent Solution, SYKCO 411, Rodent Solution, Fallkniven F1.

Out of all of these I would probably prefer the 411 or Bravo 1 LT.
