Later today I will be ordering a new benchmade knife. The problem is I'm not a big fan of the one benchmade I already own, which is a mini barrage. It just doesn't work for me. Anyways I'm willing to give it another shot. I'm looking for some with g10 handles price point is 125-150$ . Please tell me some must have benchmades around that price.

What was it about the mini-barrage that you found lacking and/or unappealing?
Knowing that might allow us to make better, more informed suggestions which, in turn, will hopefully allow you to pick a more ideal knife for your next purchase.

Bench made 710-2 with M390 steel. Got mine yesterday and I must say it is just fantastic. Much better edc than the barrage.

All I did was to look at the first two replies...and I think they're right on target.
I just got my BM 806 and my BM 755; both in M390. sorta like Mutt and Jeff..

good point! i guess i didnt like the overall feel of the knife. its seems to thick and the lack of gimping of the spine of the blade.

I would recommend the 943. It's a nice knife, carries easy, slim, and it is a great cutter.

X 2. I also would recommend the 710-2. That m390 is so nice. The blade to handle ratio is fantastic, that combined with a thin profile makes it carry well for a large blade. The rounded spine is also a really nice touch.

Despite the so-so steel the 915 Triage looks pretty sweet, it's a little low for your price range though.

I only own 6 BM's (7 after I get the 810 Contego) but I like them all quite a bit, the ones in that price range I can definitely recommend are the 710 (long and slim carrying), 275 Adamas (very thick and tank like), 581 (nice snap, g10 and aluminum handle) and Ritter Griptilian.

thx of the opinions guys. let me throw out one last thing. any opinions on a non- assist opening benchmade under 150$
