Suggestions for cheap knife with long blade for batoning

Hi guys,
I have lot of twisted wood lying around that I like to split, it does not work well with an axe so I use my Hultafors Grobknife to baton it. But since the blade is not that long I cannot work on the larger diameter pieces.
So I want to buy a knife with a longer blade, something like 8-10 inches. It shall have a straight blade and straight back or cleaver shaped tip and a good thickness to help the splitting. I want to spend as little as possible on this as I will completely abuse it. Still it should be able to take a beating.

Do you have any recommendation for me? I have found and liked so far:

Ontario Spec Plus Alpha Machete
SOG Jungly Canopy (I like this a lot but it seems it is out of production)
Becker BK9 (this is great, but way too expensive)

Would be great to get more ideas!

For a really thick knife like that, the BK9 is probably the obvious choice, at least it's cheaper than the other knives in that category like the Cold Steel Trailmaster or Bussekin options. If you're looking for something less expensive, the Terävä Skrama would be your best bet. I think it's set up more for chopping than batoning, but it can do both and often gets cited as the best chopper for the money right now.

Guys, thank you for all the replies. But we seem to have different views on what "cheap" is with a knife;-) The BK9 and Skarma cost WAY more than I consider cheap. I was more looking more at the 20-30 dollar range.
As said, I really want to abuse this knife, and even leave it outside in my garden (under a roof).

You might be happier with splitting wedges.

Buck Froe maybe specific to splitting wood, but I just saw wanted more I expensive tool. but may want to spend more for a good one, Terava Skrama 240. If you want inexpesive, you may need to be careful it doesn’t hurt you if not good enough quality. Also check out Condor.

Rough Ryder Black Mule Bowie works pretty well and is pretty fun little fixie to have around...$24.99.

Just to let you know, it can get a little rattle in the handle, but it has no effect on the function.
