Suggestions for medium size edc clip folder

+1 :thumbup: I have a 551 and love it. I've carried mine for over a year and a half and it handles everything with ease. It is a great overall knife.

My brother wants a good folder for christmas and he is not really a knife guy so I am going to get him something. Looking to spend 60 or less. I am out of the folder game and have moved to more interest in fixed blades, but I was looking for something different than the Spyderco delica or some of the higher end Gander mountain type folders.

Anything new out there or anything solid that has a good steel, sturdy clip, and good weight and strength??
Nothing too crazy, a good simple blade design and easy one handed opening and closing are good.

I'd also recommend a Benchmade Mini Griptilian. It has a great reputation for a reason! It's less aggressive or tactical looking than the Delica or a lot of Spydercos for that matter. I'm not hating on Spyderco, I've got about a dozen of them. I'm just keeping your brother in mind.
-Great steel, conservative but functional design so less likely to scare non-knife people with it.
-Axis lock is one of the best lock types available.
