Suggestions for new EDC

After reading all the comments I think you should really check the Recon 1 and/or Broken Skull

Buck 110 or 112 or a Schrade Old Timer 7OT/6OT or Uncle Henry LB7.
I've never had the Buck 112 (a little small for my tastes) but I've used the other for EDC for at least 45 years.
If you want one hand opening, you can get a bar or button that uses set screws to attach to the blade. Personally, I've never needed one hand opening.
Admittedly, they do weigh a little bit more, (the Buck 110 and Shrades average around 7 1/2 ounces) but in the belt pouch you don't notice the weight. Personally, the weight when using them has never been an issue. They are all well balanced and give a good grip with no "hot spots", or worse, a picket clip digging into your hand.

Thanks everyone for the great suggestions. So many choices! The first one ordered is a cold steel prolite sport. Never owned a cold steel folder, wanted to check it out. The next one I will get will be the benchmade bugout, maybe by the time I'm ready to get it, they'll offer it with the sheepsfoot blade. After that, I think I'll save up some pennies and try a bearing flipper. Once again thanks everyone for your suggestions. Looking forward to being a member of a great community.

The CS prolite is a good inexpensive way to see if you like the tri-ad lock. The steel won't keep it's edge as well as other CS knives.

Just a quick update. After a couple of weeks with the CS prolite, I wish that I had updated my edc a long time ago. I am totally satisfied with it. Haven't really "tested" it yet, but it's done everything I've asked of it. The benchmade bugout is still on the short list to get. Thanks all you enablers

Delica 4 warncliffe. Why would you go with anything else? Delica. Four. Warncliffe. Fully serrated. Pocket chainsaw. The culmination of the past 50 years of pocketknife innovation. This is where we've arrived. This is the knife at the end of THE freaking yellow brick road. Under 70 bucks and you've got the knife people have died wanting. This is the true grail. Anything else is just pretend. Get this knife and save thousands of future dollars. If it needs to be cut, this little bastid can cut it.

My favorites right now are:

BM 940-2
ZT 0566
Spyderco Southard
Viper Ten
I would look a the new Viper Hinderer designed Storm
