I can't seem to find a decent knife that can be deployed out of the pocket (something similar to a wave) the most I can pay to stay in my budget is 60$

I need it to be over 3 inches, preferably with a belly.

Any suggestions?

It's probably more a combination of familiarity with a knife than a specific knife design. I can draw and deploy a Spyderco Military or a TSEK faster than I can wave an Emerson. Just practice with a knife you are comfortable using and carrying.

I'm perfectly fine quick drawing and flicking the wrist but it's just my preference to have both options available.

You think so? Just sayin.

Dang that man can close a knife fast... haha, I haven't owned a spyderco before but I'm considering getting a resilience but that rust factor with the steel is a bit of a turn off.

It won't be a problem so long as you care for your cutting tool as you would any other tool.

Very true, although I have bad luck with steels, I've had a S&W rust on me within 2 days despite cleaning it with 3in1 and keeping it oiled, my cold steel Ti-Lite's liners started rusting even though I cared for that thing like a collector's piece. I even keep desiccants in the storage drawer, and I live in so cal X_X
