Thanks for all the input! I think we have a winner! Stevekt, I wasn't aware of the Buck 500 series. I have a 110 that I used to belt-sheath carry, but it was too heavy in my pocket without the sheath. So, when I couldn't belt-carry it, it stopped traveling with me.
I have slipjoints, but I don't want to lend one to someone who doesn't understand how *not* to use a slipjoint
-- which is why I'm looking for a lockback (I don't trust liner locks)...
That 500 series looks like what I'm looking for -- looks wise; quality, and price. Any suggestions as to whether the Squire (501) is too heavy, or worth it (vs. the Prince 503)? The Knight (505) is too small for what I want, I think (?)
