Suggestions on how to spend my Xmas $$

The Lion Steel SR-1 is 2010's discovery for many knife hounds. Exquisitely made, with a handle milled from a single piece of titanium, this is now already a modern classic, and quite a bit more special than a Sebenza (I have a small Sebenza, it's quite nice, yet the Lion Steel oozes class and sophistication in comparison):

SEBENZA SEBENZA SEBENZA! My vote puts the Sebe over the Umnum any day. Every collection needs a Sebenza. As long as your not vulnerable to addictions like me...
Or you could do what I did and buy back your prized Benchmade 46 Balisong with your Christmas Cash.

I like the SR-1 from Lionsteel but it seems to be out of stock everywhere.

The Knifeart site is a very dangerous place to be when you have money to spend!!
Looking at the Sebenza with cocobolo.

Lion Steel's website says delivery at end of February 2011. That is a great-looking knife, but a little too long for my taste.

So am saving up for a small sebenza (along with a Caly 3 CF, Sage 3, plus a Stowa Antea watch) for 2011.

Forgot about the Lionsteel SR-1, and the Galyean Pro series of knives. All are great knives from all I've read about them!:)

You could always donate it to my favorite Charity:

Commitee Against Social Hypocrisy

Or CASH for short ... Mail it to me and I'll take good care of it ;)

Go onto knife art ... they help you spend it right quick.

How did you manage to have 2 Umnumzaans let you down?

I'm not sure what I was trying to say there. I have never had a Zaan let me down but I think what I was trying to say is that my Sebenza's can keep up with "hard USe" Zaan all day long.

Cobra, boy you are not kidding. That site is going to get me into a lot trouble this coming year.

Jiggy, I've got a full size orange Griptilian.

Honestly, I went for the Sebenza because I know that I am eventually going to get one anyway and I've always wanted one. They better be as good as everyone says! ; )

Some beautiful knives there. Usually reserve the word beautiful for women, but that site ... Holy gaomole !!!

Knife porn (LOL)

I want to thank everyone for the suggestions. I went with a Sebenza with Bocote inlays from Knifeart.

Great pick! It's really hard to go wrong with a Sebenza, especially the wood inlaid models. I found that the wood gives the handle a little more girth than the ti alone does, not much, but a little, plus the wood has a nice feel and dresses up what many would call a drab knife.

Did you get a large or small?

Yep, knifeart is an addiction unto itself!
