• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

Suggestion suggestions on improving feedback process

There's a thread in GBU about people not leaving feedback, etc. I had some thoughts on making it easier to leave feedback. Figured I should post them here.

1) If you click the "Add Feedback" link within a thread, have the system default to using that thread's URL on the feedback form

2) Regarding selecting your role for feedback:
  • If the person clicking on "Add Feedback" is the creator of the thread, default the role to "Seller"
  • If the person clicking is not the creator, default to "Buyer"
  • Obviously, on the trading forums, default to "Trader"
The person still would have the option to change their role in case it didn't fit into the default selection

3) Regarding the text fields, make them optional - especially if the feedback is positive. I don't think I've ever read any actual feedback comments, except when someone had negative feedback and I wanted to see the nature of that feedback
