Hello, guys, I am new here, and this is my first post, so if I am doing anything incorrectly, please forgive me.
I am interested in buying a karambit. I am relatively new to knives other than that I've owned a couple of utility knives for a few years.
I am wondering what kind of price range I should be looking at to buy a karambit, as well as good brands, and some possible suggestions on models I could purchase.
I was looking at the website knifecenter.com for a karambit, as well as other knives. This website has seen some praise according to what I've already found online, and I was wondering what you guys thought of this website.
All help is appreciated, thank you.
P.S.: I don't know if this matters for this type of knife, but it must be compliant with current New York State knife laws. Thank you.

First thing: go to the part of this website that deals with knife laws and look up your state and your city. Spend 20 minutes now, and you might save yourself a world of hurt later. In some cities, displaying a pocket clip is enough probable cause for a stop and frisk, and not drawing police attention is a good thing. There are a bunch of threads on choosing a karambit, so that would be another good place to search without having to wait for a bunch of folks to chime in. Knifecenter reviews can be helpful, but lots of merchant reviews go along the lines of "I just got it out of the box and it's great!" The people on the forum will often have more to add to that, especially if the knife did/didn't perform well over time. So choose a budget, grab a coffee, and settle in--lots of good info to read.
