Wow, that's great work. Does the blade have a little curve to it or is that just my eyes playing tricks on me again?

Muito agradável!
Its unlike any balisong I've seen before. I wish it was coming to me.;) Mauricio is getting quite good at making exciting blades and handles for balisongs. Can we get a closeup of the handle inserts?

Nybble,
Yes, it has a curved blade. I will try to take a new picture with emphasis on the edge.

Penguin,
I didn't know you could speak portuguese so well.

I really like it!!! Though I am still waiting for another blade style to appear. ;)
I absolutely love how those inserts are done, very tasteful, similiar to those on PABU balisongs, very nice touch!!!! :D :D

Nice of you to post the pictures. Very interesting "live-edge" on that blade profile. Great looking work as always!!

Its a Dobruski...what can I say?

However, I do see one thing I would personally change.

I like the handle design, but I would prefer a brighter wood inlay. It looks nice, but if the wood was a nice polished reddish color...whew...

I really love those double bolsters/inlays..........Will I have to order another?!? More than likely!!!!:D:D:D!!!

Very nice work. I love the double insersts and the slight curve to the blade. Mr. Dobruski should be very proud.

Very very nice. I'm now tempted to rethink my CB-35 ;)

BTW Mauro, what is the name of this blade style?

Tony I can answer that for Mauro...it's called..

"IWANTONENOW"....a common grind for us all!

It looks very nice, but I don't see a double tang pin or a kick in the picture. May I ask how the blade is kept from contacting the handle?

There doesn't look like much a kick, but maybe --just enough--...That and some creative milling, and it would work just fine...

That is a really sweet tanto. Is the swedge a razor, too?? I like this one even better than the white handled one.

I might just have to git me one of them with Mammoth fossil ivory inserts, with a --WIDE-- belly scimitar...:D

Very sweet knife...
It's a beauty...

I love it...simply love it!!!

I've always been a sucker for blades that are a bit unique and different, and considering tanto's are my favorites anyway, this one is deffinately at the top of my list.

I wonder how it would look if the front part of the blade (what is that part called on a tanto anyway?) was also curved in just a bit. It would make a smaller angle where the blade turns up and give it a bit of a "mean" look.

What is that wood in the handels. I like the double inlay a lot, it really gives it some personality (as if the blade weren't enough!). I've been putting off spending the money for long enough, it looks like a Dobruski is going to be in my near future!

Great work!!!

Wow!

A recurve tanto!

I have stated before that the CB14 has some of the nicest blade grinds of any knife I own...and now an ABSOLUTE FIRST(yet in a way so obvious)!

The recurve tanto!

Wow!

That's really beautiful, I think that's my favorite of all the Dobruskis I've seen pics of so far!!! :D
