suggestions on this CB 28

MateenCleaves12: thanks for the suggestion about the wood. I can imagine this bali with bright reddish Pau-Brasil or some color G-10.

Agent-A1: I can't say that the Jacaranda wood is rare but surely it is not very expensive. Jacaranda is one of the strongest Brazilian wood and nowadays is used for high class furniture and art objects.

Thank you all for the comments. Your feedback is very important for us.
We don't know how to call this blade. Maybe "recurve tanto"?
Actually this blade was designed by Mr. K. I believe that soon he will assume his paternity and give us his comments.
Surely Dobruski is very proud to execute this design as requested.
Please visit this link ( www.taymo.com/en )and also see CB-26 & CB-27.
Once again, thank you all.

Very nice creation, perhaps a upward 'swoop' of the blade rather than downward would be as unique

Excellent, those three knives are really showing off Mauricio's stuff! Three knives, three different blade profiles, three different handle metals and inserts in two styles. Really great work. Looking forward to seeing the next bunch!

Oh man!!!!

As much as I am NOT a fan of inlaid handled Balis, the combination of that blade profile with those handles TOTALLY floors me!

That is one beautiful Balisong guys! Keep up the good work (what an understatement!)

Hi Clay,
You've said you don't care for inlays before. Is that for artistic reasons or manipulation reasons? I assume you prefer the classic look of the skeleton handles, or is an inlay okay if it's one piece over the length of the handle. This isn't meant critically, everyone has their preferences, I'm just curious as to the reasons. The skeleton handles are a favorite of mine too, but both styles are appealing. Thanks.

Every single time I see a new bali from Mr. Dobruski, I want to change my order. I'm not a big fan of tantos and I didn't think a scimitar profile would look good on a bali, but Mauricio has certainly turned me around on that.
