Buck Paklite Large Skinner, very little weight, great grinds, thick stock, thick tip, sheath is just ok:

Wow! That's a lot of great options, thank you all! Theres some that I have never even thought of like dpx! Their woodsman with niolox sounds nice! Also the gso 3.5 or 4.1's are very nice! I think I'm going to get a lower budget knife like a Mora stainless or broker in 440c for now until I get a fallkniven, bark river, gso or dpx!

Not knocking that buck but it is horribly uncomfortable for my hands. Thanks for the suggestion though

I definitely love d2 it is one of my favorite steels but I am choosing a stainless knife for the fact of low maintenance of the steel. I would have already found the knife I am looking for if I had chose a carbon steel. I just looked at the bark river Lil Canadian and kneckers, great small knives and in 3v!

If you want low maintenance and corrosion resistance in a affordable package then you've already nailed it....Mora.

If you want to spend all of that $100 then go Becker...maybe a 14 or 15.
