I am looking for the next knife in the collection that can try to share pocket time with what I have now. I love the techno and want something along the lines of a 3 inch or sub-3 inch blade that is either overbuilt or simply well made and dependable. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Benchmade Sequel and North Forks. I'm a fan of the Axis lock.
Spyderco Sage 3 and Native 5. I like the ergos of the integrated choil on many of the Spydercos. I find them comfortable.
Viper knives has quite a few offerings around the Techno price but I dont know much about Viper knives.
 
Have you checked out the Spydie Chubby??
Built like a tank and is definitely 'different'!! It has amazingly smooth & fast action! Locks up TIGHT!! Unique blade shape with a very thin hollow grind! Seriously super sinister slicer if I ever saw one!!
Also, it won't scare anyone if they see it!
