Hey guys, I am looking for recommendations for a knife to carry around in a suit, something not too flashy and price isn't too much of a concern, within reason.

I was going to say William Henry though.

Mnandi wouldn't suck, but IMO a William Henry would be my first choice.

Though not as fancy as an Mnandi or William Henry (which I would suggest if their prices are in your range) there are quite a few simple, and very practical Swiss Army knives that could go directly into your pocket or be carried in a small sheath. Some of the makers on this forum have made some very nice small fixed blade knives that could be pocket carried. Mike

Though a bit larger and more expensive, the Lionspy Ti Spine models are beautiful, well made knives.

Although not over $200 or as fancy as many of the suggested knives I carry a ZT 0770cf whenever I'm dressing up. Its very light and can be deassisted if you dont like assisted openers. My dream knife that is over $200 sadly is a bodega which I think are beautiful. I also agree on a mnandi or a William Henry. Personally I wouldnt be able to carry a William Henry though due to the price and how beautiful they are.

Both the William Henry and the Mnandi are well north of $200. I don't yet have a WH, but my Damascus and mammoth ivory Mnandi is roughly $800.

The Spyderco Air is amazing. An M4 steel blade in such a lightweight package for well under $150? Genius knife!

I'm also a fan of my Chaparral Stepped Titanium. Not as light, but a very attractive knife that is also a killer slicing machine.

I have a couple William Henry knives. These knives work great for a suit and the craftsmanship is simply fantastic. That said, if you want something other than the WH EDC line you quickly get in the $500+ range.

My go to suit knife is the WH E10 series. Ultralight, ultra-functional (one handed opening, fantastic cutter, solid) and the clip looks like a pen clip:

The LionSteel TiSpine also often makes it into my pocket when I want something slim and pretty. It's a bit heavier, but it's a head turner:

That said, me being me, the thing I carry most often in dress pants is a prettied up Southard . . .

great suggestions guys, thanks. anything you would all suggest in the $200> range?

I'm reading his range as under $200.
When I wear a suit, I carry my kershaw leek with stainless scales. Rest of the time I carry an XM-24, not sleek at all.

For suit carry, I have a Spyderco Dragonfly Nishijin that is simply gorgeous. They can still be found. Also, the Spyderco Chaparral and the Benchmade 707 Sequel get pocket time. A Kershaw Leek is a great knife but I exchanged mine for a Spyderco Caly 3. They are exactly the same size and the Spyderco is a bit more sophisticated.

It's very rare that I wear a suit, but the last time I did, I believe I was carrying a Kershaw Groove. This remains one of my favorite knives despite having others that are by all tangible measures better knives.
