How about a longsword for the kitchen?
I offer for sale a Sujihiki 270 made of 2.5mm stainless RWL34. It's tapered to the point and has a convex grind towards the edge. It feels great in the hand and it's sharp enough!

I offer for sale a Sujihiki 270 made of 2.5mm stainless RWL34. It's tapered to the point and has a convex grind towards the edge. It feels great in the hand and it's sharp enough!

- Steel: RWL34 (a powder based stainless steel)
- Thickness: 2.5 mm (~3/32") at the heel
- Hardness: 64 HRC
- Handle: Stabilised curly birch with a pakka wood ferrule and G10 liner, hand sanded to 1200 grit and polished
- Attachment: Center dowel
- Blade finish: Hand sanded to 600 grit
- Total length: 420 mm (16.5")
- Blade width: 38 mm at the heel (1.5")
- Blade length: 275 mm (10.8")
- Weight: 178 grams (6.3 oz)
- Edge: Sharpened convex at 15 dps (sharpness 200 BESS C)
