Ok guys, I wanted to make a down and dirty machete style knife that would actually be used. This was completely forged to shape. There is still some forge marks on it. I didnt etch the Suminigashi steel because I wanted to leave it rough and didnt want to give the buyer a reason to not use it. That being said, There is low layer damascus cladding on a hitachi white steel core in there. The cladding is super tough. I bent a knife similar to this over 90 degrees without breaking and the core steel was around 60 rc. This combo makes for a super nice, tough as nails blade. I forged in nice distal taper so the point is thin and thumb tack sharp. Im not offering a Sheath with this because im trying to keep the price down as much as possible but ill make a leather sheath for 55$ if requested. First Ill take

Man it's just so nice! Just that 'slightest', amount of forge marks it's got on it very much adds a quite a bit to it IMO. I always love your work man, and the steel you use just make ur blades that much cooler  I would love to see you make a few WIP's or even one for that matter, with some shop pics etc. Great work brother, and thanks for sharing :)
