It's been fairly hot in South Georgia over the last few days. The heat index has been well over 100*F, and, with the high humidity, going outside is like walking into a sauna. Many of us, however, don't have a choice..... So, when your drawers and socks are wringing wet after a long day in the sun, what ice cold brew helps cool you down??? Lately, I have been drinking Strongbow cider and Newcastle Bombshell blonde ale. GOOD STUFF!!!

Just some ice cold water or sometimes some Very Berry Hibiscus refresher from Starbucks. I'm looking into making some cold brew coffee with my Aeropress. :D

Wow, 100 degree heat index!! It's barely made it into the mid 60's here!

As for a cold beer on a hot day, my normal is LaBatts Blue!

And if you get a chance.....check out a Tittiestout!

No beer for me...... Either a Frozen Screwdriver, or my cheap easy mock Bahama Mama, my buddy dubbed it the JoeMama, coconut rum and pineapple juice, blended 50/50.

My absolute favorite summer brew would have to be 24 ounces of water! Chugged as fast as possible!

But when night time rolls around its usually Guinness Draught!

2/3 Guinness Draught and 1/3 strongbow is an awesome combo. My friends and i call it a black velvet.

Hmmm I'll have to try that one. Have you ever tried Wolaver's Alta Gracia Coffee Porter? If so, how does it compare? I'd love to try the old 504 but looks like I'll have to head way south for that :D. Maybe someday!

I would have added the photo to prove its real, but some folks might have been offended.
