Guys,

NOTE- I have Expanded this giveway. The number of prizes will be FIVE instead of one.

The rules are very simple-

The Theme is Beckers are a TRUE BLUE companion in the field.

Simply make a post as to WHY a Becker is a "True Blue" knife for you. TRY to keep it to a sentences long. That's it- no videos, no pics needed but one or two would be great. And of course, you can heap praise on me for my generosity all you wish ..:D

This giveaway is open to ANY poster on this forum.

Please only enter once. The winner will be chose by random drawing- names in a hat.

First prize- is a finished set of Becker Blue grips and a matching ceramic field rod- $55 retail price.

Second Prize- this set of Blonde Curly Maple "fat Boy" Tweenr stocks. Thse are about .050" er side thicker and REALLY make a difference in in comfort during hard use on the Tweeners.

Third Prize will be a set of BK 14 grips - here is an example. Pics of the actual grips will be posted next week. They will be made of fancy walnut.

Fourth Prize will be a Short set of BK11 grips- these will be posted By the end of the contest. They will be my choice of wood and of the factory Kabar pattern.

Fifth Place will be a Magnum 7" Crock Sharpening stick with your choice of an Ember Glow or Woodland Camo handle Just a Double length version of the one above.. Winners' choice of Ember Glow or Dark Woodland Lam..

Becker knives are companions for me in the field because they are strong reliable knives for camp use. I also love that they are cheap so I don't mind hard using them.

My BK2 is a true blue companion for me when I camp. I can use it to open up cans, packs of bacon....mmmm bacon, split some wood, or take it on a hike and clear the path if need be. It is truly a jack of all trades.

Thanks for the opportunity Jim, sure could use those on my BK2 for the upcoming camping trips I have this summer :)
 
After a lifetime of harduse of different field knives, I found beckers about 10 years ago... The quality, pricepoint, designs are all factors in why I continue to choose beckers over all other knives!! Thank you for your generosity in this giveaway, the members here amaze me with their imaginations, skill, etc.... Thanks again!
 
My BK2 is my true blue companion because it doesnt snitch or tell where we've been at..and when the zombies come, it wont trip me and leave me to be eaten ! And yes Jim62 does great work :D
 
My BK-14 is my true blue companion in the field because it does everything I could need for a day hike or more, it will cut food for me, baton small kindling, open packages out of my pack, make wood shavings, and look cool on my belt! As long as my 14 is with me I know I can handle almost anything (that doesn't require chopping or splitting large logs :)).

Beckers are true blue knives that work hard and don't hurt the wallet too much. And look:

Becker's are true blue because you can count on them when the sky is blue or your mood is blue & they don't put your bank account in the red.

My BK&T's are true-blue for me because they let me snuggle with them when my woman won't.
 
Ode to the Becker

A Becker is true and blue,
For it does everything a good knife must do.

My Beckers are True Blue companions cuz there's one for all my needs. My 9 makes sure all my firewood is split and ready to keep me warm, my 2 is there to back up my 9 and baton through anything which she can't chop. My 16 helps me with chores of all kinds, and with the exchangeable scales she always looks fine, and my necker is always hangin' around, quick to make fuzz sticks or cut up an apple. It really is a perfect little knife and when I'm just kickin' back it open my high life:D

My BK14 is now my true blue. I used to carry around the kabar kukri!.....for like a day. Then I became smarter.

Just got the bk16, so I'm starting to feel the itch. :)
 
Beckers are "true blue" because the only thing they can't do is shoot bullets.

My BK-10 LE is definitely true blue, It sits nicely at the small of my back in it's Skystorm Scout Sheath out of the way but easily accessible and it even has blue liners!!:thumbup:
