We had a few towns in Ga. hit 101deg. today & summer doesnt start until june 20th. we have very high humidity to go with it. you get steam cooked!

That weather looks great to me. It's too hot here.

when I showed up to work the thermometer read 112 in the sun. After it'd been in the shade for awhile it was hovering around 96. With a good solid 80% humidity. And its still early June.

I'm not looking forward to August.

it hit around 100 today, and the schools all let out early (which i think was a sheeple reaction to the hype the weather folk have been giving us the last day or two...as if we have never dealt with summer before...)

i am almost envious of you...but i do appreciate all the seasons for what they present, and try to turn a blind eye to the bad things about them... hot is good, because its easier to swim and sleep outdoors without carrying too much bedding...

cool makes it easier to be outdoors because it isn't so hot...;)

Pitdog, I was in your neck of the woods for a conference last week. It rained almost constantly, and it was about 20 degrees C cooler than it is here in Toronto - and I loved it. I'll take rain and grey skies on the BC coast over oppressive humidity in the heart of the smog belt any day!

All the best,

- Mike

You tell him Mentor! The only good thing about summer other than the incredible biodiversity available, is...................., wait a minute, there isn't one. :(

Doc

Been hot and humid here, but has cooled off a little and been rainy the past couple days. I am diggin the swamprat, pit!

man.. i wish i was there....:o it's been waaaay hot here already... yesterday was 90" degrees....

We had tons of rain today and got a bunch of power lines knocked down. The lights just came on.

We had 50 mph winds last night. Rain and more rain with power outages like crazy. We had 2 large trees take out power poles and 2 schools without power in my district (I'm the district carpenter).
I'll still take this over anywhere else in the nation right now. Besides, it's supposed to be perfect weather for taking my 3 year old on his first tent trip by this weekend.
I hope you folks keep cool over yonder. I've done the Desert states to Mississippi to Alaska for crab seasons. I don't care for the extremes anymore.

Here in Seattle we had about 12 or 13 days of grey overcast skies filled with thick clouds. It didn't rain much, but just sat between 50-60 degrees. On Sunday we finally had a bit of sun, but I'm eagerly awaiting the arrival of summer.

Fifth day in a row here in the 90’s or higher.

I saw 103 on my thermometer yesterday.

Summer?... It’s still spring on my calendar.

Yikes! Its been in the nineties every day here. Women line the streets in bikini's, fanning one another and spraying water on each others tops.
