Gentlemen:
For your consideration is my Man Knife in W-2 with Desert Ironwood Burl and a hamon. I typically make these in D-2 steel with black micarta scales - I thought I'd make a Sunday go to meeting version.
The spine has checkered thumb serrations and a deeply tapered tang. The hollow ground blade was hand rubbed to 2000 grit and etched to reveal a vivid hamon line. The Desert Ironwood Burl scales (which I spent too darn much money on) have lots of burls, swirls and great color contrast. I noticed that there appears to be a crater under the lanyard tube on the obverse side of the knife but that's a photographic illusion and simply a dark burl. I hope you like it! The first "I'll take it" gets it. $250 plus $15 shipping. Paypal preferred to tksteingass@frontier.com. Maker's lifetime common sense warranty and free sharpening.
