These got back from K&G sooner than I expected. UPS just dropped them off a few minutes ago.
I will be cleaning them up today and start listing them in the web store tomorrow.

These are big blocks about 5&3/4" x 2&1/2" x 1&1/4" in size.
The wood has been carbon dated to be 5460 years old. A copy of the report will be included with blocks purchased.
Cost will be about $75 each. A bit higher for figured pieces.
Repeat customers can have a 20% discount.
During checkout there will be a blank field that asks if you have a discount/promotional code. In that field enter the letters repeat and it will apply a 20% discount to your order.

I will make another post in this thread when they are ready in the web store.

cant wait for the pics, I'm sooooo interested in the history alone of this wood...I've even told my kids about it... :D

the cool factor alone is worth it....

Sent a set from the first batch off already to be put on a chopper. Can't wait to see the finished result.

What I’ve been wondering, if the wood is 5460 years old, is that from the moment the tree started growing or the time the tree fel in to the bog?
Oaks can get over a 1000 years old.

Thanks Mark. Just bought a piece of the black palm.
I am trying to get a piece of wood on a regular basis to get me a stock pile.

The last batch of this sold out real quick so I cleaned up some more blocks.

I just finished adding another batch of Stabilized Bog Oak to the Web Store.
