Sunday Picture Show....

Wow, all these knives look great...:thumbup::thumbup: ... Makes me want to go out and buy a New Buck Knife... ... Keep them coming... :D ... ITE

Use photbucket.com, if I can do it anyone can

Just click the "go advanced" button to the right of the "post quick reply" button on the bottom of the area where you type your posts.
Then, once the new page has loaded, go to the bottom of the web page and you will see a button that says "manage attachments". Click that button and then click the browse button to find the picture on your hard disk. Once you have selected the picture, click upload and it will take about a minute or two for the pic to upload. When it is done uploading the pic, just close the window.
Then when you are done with your post, click the submit post button that is under where it said "Manage Attachments" and all that other advanced stuff.
Hope this helps.
:D

Beautiful knives guys!!!

Plumberdv, I sure hope Buck comes through with those paradigms! Those are fantastic looking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks Guys for all the nice photos . IMA, a 1st version, 1st variation 112 . Super .
Sky, there is no "manage attachments" button at the bottom of the next page on my PC . DM

After you go advanced there is a manage attachments button you click on in the additional options box. Hope this makes sense I'm not much of a computer kinda guy.

I think you only have that option if you are Gold. I may be wriong about that but it seems like I had the same issue before I upgraded.

Sky, I understand your directions . However, I've checked several times, there is no such item in my additional options box . DM

The fixed blade department is being overwhelmed by the folders.;)

Here are four 119s or variations thereof. Three are outside my usual parameters of 1961 to 1973.

The fourth is truly an oddball. It is an Ironwood handled 1961-1963 BUCK 119. I say 1961-1963 because even with the best efforts of Joe and myself, we cannot determine if it is a pinned pommel or a barrel nut. Yes, we have tried magnets; we tried the old rubbing it and breathing on it. It just won't give up its secret. It surely is a one of a kind.

Plumb I like the family portait. Did not know about the two outer ones, but I do have one of the middle ones. HL

The bottom one is the 885, new in the 2001 catalog, G-10 handles and an ATS-34 blade.
The top one is the 886, new in the catalog in 2002, G-10 handles and an ATS-34 blade.
The middle one is also an 886 that came out in the 2003 mid-year catalog and seems to have replaced the others. I has a 420HC blade.

Thanks for the information Plumb. I found mine at Wally World several years ago on thier great red tag specials. Regret not getting more of them. HL

I have three of those wood handled ones. The funny thing about those is that although they were made here in the USA, alot of them don't have USA on the blade. One of mine I got with out box or packaging and it has USA on the blade. One other one is in the original box which says made in USA on it, but not on the blade. I can't tell on the third one because it's in an unopened clam pack, but the packaging is marked made in USA.

Mine is locked away in a safe some where, need to remember which safe, or just start going through them. Be like christmas all over again, digging into the back of them, and finding what has been hideing back there. ;) :) HL
