I didn't see a thread dedicated to the Sunfish/Whaler using the search.
Anyway, a Grand 'Ol pattern from the 1890's to early 1900's.
Lets see what you have, large or small.

I'll start. First up,just received today from a very generous member (who wishes to remain anonymous) a large Rough Ryder RR139 Smooth Bone Sleeveboard

Next up, a Rough Rider RR1455 "Zombie Nick" Sleeveboard, (also from a generous and anon. member, a couple years ago.)

Last but certainly not least, a Rough Rider RR887 Equal End Smooth Tobaco Bone, from the Outdoorsman series.

I've considering buying one of these just for fun, since it's such a silly pattern. Maybe this thread will convince me to take the plunge. Looking forward to more posts!

This is an old United Cutlery 406 Sunfish Whittler I picked up a while back. I don't know how old it is and haven't been able to dig up much history about it.

Fortunately, these are not my only choices when deciding what to carry today...

The blades are ground quite thin, especially the main, which started out with pretty thick stock. Looks like more was ground off than was kept. The blades are quite sharp and all are excellent slicers.

I also have this Marbles Sunfish that I am in the process of re-handling. I didn't take any pictures of it before I started taking it apart, so here's a couple from after...
