Sunglasses, whats everyone rock when mr. sun is out

I had a prescription pair, but they broke, so I cheaped out and got the wrap arounds that all the old people wear from Walmart. When I put a hoodie on I look just like the unibomber. Everyone laughs at me, but at $12, I get the last laugh.

I call them my chick magnets. :D

I have some random prescription pair.

Nationwide Vision sucks. They simply can't "do" prescription sunglasses so you have to get dark lenses in an eyeglass frame.

The problem is that eyeglass frames tend to fit much lower and farther out than "real" sunglasses so you get lots of light leaking in on the sides, and especially on top.

Got them a couple of months back, Ray Ban Ambermatic Aviator Shooters, the big 62mm ones :)

They change from bright yellow to grey depending on the conditions and I LOVE the classic look

Oakley Half Jackets. I like the fact that I can replace the lenses when I mess them up. I also get them at a deep discount. I signed up for Oakley's government sales program which discounts glasses for military, police, fire, and EMS personnel up to 70%.

oakley straight jackets, black frame with emerald iridium lenses (read mirror green). replaceable lenses are great, i just wish the damn bag it came with was also replaceable as i am always leaving it in weird places. (like my driveway :-/)

I wear some Costco Uvex sunglasses with interchangable lenses. I am not particularly fond of "shields" but these are great.

So hey I know this is a little off topic but I just got my May issue of Outside and their workout section was about strengthening your eyes. They had all of these exercises you could do but perhaps the most interesting thing was an explanation of the advantages of each color/tint of sunglass lenses. It was really cool and I could put it up if anyone is curious.

My fav's are the Von Zipper Papa G's. They're big glasses for big papa's. They come in a bunch of different colors and are a good buy at around $60-$85 a pair. I've gotten about 5 pairs over the past 5 years. Great sturdy frames, can be worn anywhere and everywhere.
