Afternoon thundershowers cleared just in time for the sun to set.

The saturated air and wet trees where the perfect scene for a beautiful display.

Nice photos.We've lost a lot of hemlocks here in the Catskill mtns. At one time this area was noted for tanning which was done with bark of hemlocks .Leather from as far away as South America was brought here to be tanned.Now each year I see more dead hemlocks and this will couse a fire threat too.
