I'd look at the maintenance tinkering and embellishment part of this web page too. The reason I'm saying is that I ended up with a Spyderco Sharpmaker before I got my Paramilitary 2 in S30v. I can only get mine so sharp, but I'd recommend checking out the 154cm, S30V and D2 steels or just ask one of the guys who are into sharpening. Since I have you checking out the Sharp maker, you could compare the Wicked Edge sharpener to the Edge Pro Apex, but thoes areent nothing without a small fixed blade, maybe ESEE would be a good name to give you for those. Heh' I just jokin' around, but one thing lead to the next on this site of me.
