A rare Super Automatic with the side button.
Fully intact, opens and closes as designed. Great overall quality, please see pictures.
1980s made, not many around.

This is an unusual design. Most Super Automatics had a cast Zamak grip with a front mounted actuator button similar to the Nato Military. This looks more like aluminum or stainless.
 
I just realized you asked what metal the handle was. As for feel and look in person, I think it's stainless because it's strong and heavier. I have a super automatic in my collection like you are talking about as well, with the button on the front. Here is a picture to compare the 2.
