So. I had an idea and it’s now real. A silly thick Bushcraft style knife 
Ready for camp or apocalypse 
1/4in 5160 blade with black G10 scales. It’s 9 5/8in overall with a 5in blade tip to handle. Weight is 10 1/2oz. It’s chunky but it doesn’t feel overweight IMHO. I’ve drilled out the tang a bit and ground a nice stout taper to the blade. Sheath is black Boltaron and will accommodate a large size Tek Lok or similar device. My price s $150***sold***shipped in the US.
