A really nice, clean-and-classic looking, well-executed smaller bowie by Kurt Meerdink.

Elegant antique-ivory paper micarta, fine satin hand-rubbed finish on a classic flat grind from the 3/16" spine. Very nice grind on the left-side-grind top clip!

6" blade, 10 1/8" overall length. This is a compact bowie.

Not sure of steel type, but may be ATS-34 ?

The micarta scales are secured by five 'torx' type screws, and it does appear that the construction is 'take-down', and the slabs appear to be removable, and....the guard has a minute amount of play, indicating that it will likely slide off once the scales are removed (although, you wouldn't know it by looking, as there is no gap visible).

Marked 'MEERDINK MAKER RIO NEW YORK' and, on the opposite side at the ricasso ' 096 '.

Very sharp edge. No indication of any use. Custom sheath in hand-tooled leather. If you have larger hands, you may find the grip less than secure.

Great carry piece, and a pleasure to-the-eye.... Mr. Meerdink has not been making some period of time.

- $335. shipped to the CONUS $285. $275. $269. $259. $249.
