Super Commander Thoughts

This reminds me of Hatori Hanzai in Kill Bill. The man from Okinawa who was a famous sword maker. He had made the finest and most lethal swords known to man but became grieved at what his creations had wrought. He vowed before God to never create something that would kill again. That is until he was coaxed out of retirement by Uma Thurman.

Anyway, why would you say that you would not collect knives again?

I can think of lots of things I would do for Uma.
Make a sword, sacrifice a goat, become a pirate....

I originally acquired the commander because I just wanted to try out the classic Emerson's, at the time I really didn't think I'd like it, but I loved it. The commander is such a good all around knife and the super commander is even better, it really isn't a bad knife to EDC interms of size and weight, but for me a regular commander is ideal what with local knife laws. I still carry my super commander when I'm hiking or camping and its excellent for that.

Got mine yesterday, shouldn't have waited, it is head and shoulders nicer than my mini com. It has replaced my beloved spyderco military as my favorite blade. My only concern is how little lock up the liner has with the blade, hoping it will wear in

Just a tip. Be careful until that lockbar settles in well with the lockface. I wouldn't be stabbing into anything till it moves over some. ;)
