Super Eraser Rust Eraser

Has anyone used this? The amazon reviews look pretty good. I'm thinking of using it on a knife with non-removable micarta scales. Will this eraser damage the micarta (or G10) if it comes into contact with it? I'll try taping off the handles.

I use the Japanese rust erasers for my carbon blades. Not sure if it's the same one you are talking about. 1x2" and grey.

They work by abrasion. I have never used one, but if it removes rust and steel, it should also do something micarta. Be safe and tape.
