CA finish's are not everyone's cup of tea but it has it's place and does bring out the best in a nice piece of timber. Here's a vintage knife steel i was asked to remake a handle for , brass and mallee burl with a ca finish on the timber only. 10 coats of thin ca ,light 1500gt rub between coats and finished to 8000gt working in a ventilated area is a must when working this stuff , the fumes from the ca are nasty
