This is my first time ordering from them and seemed like a decent deal. But should I be alarmed that the (15) 40 grit Ceramics I ordered look exactly like the AO belts I have here? I thought ceramics were orange, green, purple or even a bright red. These are dark red just like Aluminum Oxide....Just curious as I'm hoping they are the correct belts.

look at what is printed on the inside of the belt, that should tell you what type of belt they sent

They are ceramic. I was in supergrit on Tuesday looking at those very belts.

Funny side story. My last 60grit belt was on its last leg this weekend and I went online to order some more when I realized I occasionally drive past this "sanding outlet". So I looked it up online and realized it was the same place I was reading about on these forums. Its sandpaper for days in there. Really cool place.

I've been using those belts for years, you can rest assured they're ceramic.
Ken.

Thats great to hear. Hope to get another grind done tonight with them!

I know everybody grinds differently and therefore different people like/need different belts but the VSM ceramic belts from Tru-Grit work just as well for me as any belt I've ever used and they're only $4 each. I think they're the best bang for the buck as far as 2 X 72 ceramics go.

No truer words spoken
