For sale today- an incredibly rare Gavko custom. This is the #7 front flipper prototype of a total of 10 Mike ever made, and the only one with a black timascus inlay. The blade is Stellite 6k, a super uncommon cobaltic steel that will not corrode. The action is incredible and drops like a guillotine. The clip is also black timascus, matching the inlay, and the hardware is anodized to match. There are some wear marks on the blade and the backspacer, and there is a tiny bit of detent lash. Otherwise, the knife is amazing. It has an amazing working edge. This knife is a must-have for any serious collector or fan of Mike's work. I bought this for around $1400 about five years ago. Looking for $1200 TYD USPS flat rate insured. Paypal FF, Zelle, or Venmo accepted.

FYI, I, too, have a Stellite 6K knife and the metal (not a steel) is fantastic. It will not rust. It is dendritic cobalt.
