We all know the greed that can be associated with collecting GEC. I myself have been guilty of selling for a bit more than I may have paid for a GEC years prior. We can all guess what factors have led to the GEC blow up, but I think it comes down to simple greed. Not theft and not a scam, but moves like this are just frustrating and disheartening.

listed a Michigan jack for $350 just the other day and of course, it got snatched up immediately. Several members responded to his listing. He claimed it was cross posted and sold elsewhere. Someone asked where else it was listed, no response. In all fairness, he doesn’t have to, but it would be nice to know other places these gems can be found. Now this morning, the same knife is again posted by the same seller for $480. If the first buyer didn’t work out, why not reach out to the other dozen members that inquired the first go round? I’d love to hear a clear explanation of what happened and why the price was jacked up by such a large amount. Any and all comments/questions referring to this matter were immediately deleted from his profile page. Could be a very legitimate reason. If it’s greed, just be honest. I don’t think any BF rules were broken, but it just seems like an extremely shady move.
