Superhawk or Stretch

Overall the stretch is probably the better non specialised, EDC knife. They are both high quality, high performance knives but the Hawkbill style is not for everybody.

What it's good at it tends to be very good at.

Both knives are at the top of the heap quality and performance wise. Joe

For general utility purpose I don't find a hawkbill all that useful. They do a few things very well, but many things rather poorly.

I guess my answer is apparent, as I EDC a Stretch II and I don't own a SuperHawk.

I think for normal EDC the Stretch will be the better choice but the SuperHawk is a much sexier looking knife IMO That also carries and uses well

I suppose it depends on what kind of cutting you do. The SuperHawk looks awesome, and judging from my experience carrying a Dodo as an EDC, would probably do me very well. However, I think the Stretch in ZDP with CF handle, which I own, makes a better EDC, in terms of the sheeple factor and in terms of utility.

However, if you find yourself cutting a lot of rope or webbing (or linoleum ;-) ), the SuperHawk would be the best for you.
