I have carried this in a pocket by itself.I see no real wear to the finish but there are light scratches on the clip.Comes with 8 Schmidt refills.The 01 pen has been discontinued by Surefire.

This is a twist to open pen but it does take a couple twists to open and close.

I have back out on this one. Not what I want. Prefer a single short twist. Sorry.

It could be a short twist if you use a shorter ink cartridge and adjust the pen to the right setting. The main feature of this pen is that it can accept any sized ink cartridge.
If this isn't gone by the end of the week, I'll snatch it up.
