I had a high output light assembly explode in my Z3 after about 10 min. of use on the first set of batteries. I emailed helpyou@surefire.com, their support adress, and received a personal email 2 days later stating the new LA was on its way.

They don't warranty their LAs technically, but took care of me anyway.

Also, if you ever have a SF LA pop, they appear to make a mess. The whole bulb exploded and I got tiny little bits of glass all over the inside of the light, and in the threads. It was a pain to get all washed out.
