I just got an E-mail from Botach.com and they say that ETA of the E1 is the end of September. Also Greg at brightguy.com says that he misspoke himself and he cannot get the E1 yet either.

Btw, I just got a PALite Survival Plus...and I have to admit that I'm pretty disappointed in the weakness and poor quality of the beam.

Also, 2 hours after I got it, the "strobe" mode no longer works. I hardly played with it!

Just a followup to the above. I emailed PALight about the broken strobe mode and they shipped me a new replacement light right away. The replacement works just fine. They also threw in a lanyard case for the trouble. I only have to send the defective one back to them. I am quite impressed by such courteous and excellent support!
