I believe the Inova X5 puts out around 15 lumens, while the Surefire G2 gives you 65.
I agree with Peter. The G2 is an excellent light, I keep one by my bed, but the Streamlight Twin-Task 2-cell lithium (TT2) is a lot more versatile for general carry. Its xenon bulb puts out 72 lumens for a couple of hours while the LEDs produce a more practical level of light that will last more than ten times as long. Having both options is very handy. The LEDs also act as a backup if the xenon bulb breaks or burns out.
An awful lot of the folks over at CandlePowerForums rate the TT2 as the best price vs. performance you can get in a personal-sized light. I think I've seen it for just over $30.
