Speaking of a 200 lumen Surefire. on CP Forums Many different people have the expensive equipment to test lumen, and the E2D LED Defender is rated at 120 for some reason, but registers in all the tests as well over 200. sometimes 220+. Especially with fresh surefire batteries in it. I can't Imagine why they would rate it at only 120. but you can all check out the research. they register over 200 lumens. I believe it too. I have a Streamlight that supposed to be 135 lumens. it's BRIGHT. But my E2D LED defender is Brighter and throws further. It's also as bright or brighter then the Fenix TK11. Maybe I have a freakish E2D LED. But when I researched, it's confirmed.
The Thing about these 200 lumen lights, a drawback to me at least, going into a house with it, the reflection off a white wall temporarily blinds ME!!!! Outside it's Ok. but inside it reflects too much. Good thing they have the lower settings.
