Surefire G2 Nitrolon

Update:
My G2 just arrived and it's even brighter and sturdier than I expected.

Thanks again for the advice everybody!

Brian--I don't have an M6 yet so I can't say for certain, but from what I read the M6 should have more throw to it. On that note, though, I have two G2's and they're no slouch in the throw department either. The M6 that I handled was a lot heftier than the G2 since the Pelican is aluminum(?) bodied. Depending on where you shop the G2 is probably going to be at least a little cheaper than the M6. The M6 has a tailswitch as opposed to the G2's twist head (I don't know what the final consensus was on the optional G2Z LOTC. I'm still a newbie to flashaholicism myself, but I hope that was at least some help to you. Welcome to the forums.

G2 twist head?

I believe you are thinking of another light.
The G2 has a TailCap pressure switch and always has.
The G2 Bezel should be screwed on tight at all times.
The LOTC from the G2Z may fit your G2 however you'd have to call SureFire to see if the G2Z LOTC is available on it's own.

Yeah, you can do that as a secondary switch or lockout when in your pocket or scabbard. Keeps the light from coming on when the switch is depressed.
