Bought this a few months back to use as a carbine light, but decided to go with something else. Since, it's really just sat on the workbench with infrequent use. The batteries that came in it have weakened to the point where it shines at a reduced output, but have not bothered to change them. No box, looks new. I just don't have any use for a single mode light like this one, but does make a good long gun light.
