Surefire KL1/E2 carry question.

I'm thinking of getting the KL1 head for my E2. As much as I liked my Inova X5, the flickering is really pissing me off; flickering, eventually followed by turning off. Not good. I use a flashlight every day for work. So it's time once again to start using the superior Surefire light, now that the longer-lasting and non-blinding LEDs are available.

Anyhow, I was wondering what kind of set-up everyone uses to carry the flashlight, plus whatever head is not on the light at that moment. The complete package is the Surefire inc. plus the led head; but I haven't seen anything about carrying the whole thing as a set.

What is the best item on the market?

komondor why not get your Inova fixed? it has a warranty. I have not found anything that lets you carry the spare head for the Surefire E2E but wouldnt mind, I stick the extra lamp in my shirt pocket sometimes when at work but I don't always carry it since I always have a Surefire 8NX and a Stramlight 35XL with me at work also. I prefer the Inova over the E2E anyway it is easier to stick in my back pocket and carry everywhere and seems to be tougher, not quite as bright but good enough for a LED light. You might consider contacting Eric at on scene tactiacl to make you up something to carry the light + head.

This is for 6p. Won't this just do it?

Hey Komondor...

Here is what I have come up with for the E2e...

Comes with whatever size belt loop you need and accepts the mini Tek Lok as a bolt on item.

If you try to use it for an E2, make sure you hook the pocket clip to the side. Otherwise, it'll fall right through. The V20 holster is open bottom, and the 6P is quite a bit wider than the E2. I wouldn't really recommend this one...

Thanks everyone.

Good info and nice pics!

I think I might check out one of those holster thingies. Those look pretty cool. The problem is I'm not too fond of wearing things on my belt. I even put my Leatherman ST200 in a pocket usually before it goes on the belt.

I probably should just return the Inova, and get another one. But others here have complained they received a new one that did the same thing.
