Got me thinking...

Although the effect would not be quite as dramatic, now that I have the idea in my head I'm considering "porcupineizing" my E1. It doesn't seem like it would be too hard to do, just gently put the bezel in a bench vice and hit the edge with a round or triangle file to create some horns. Due to the considerable smaller width of the rim they would not be nearly as big, but from looking at my E1 I would estimate that you could get about 1/8 in. of relief in there if you are willing to take it as far as possible.

If nothing else it should come to considerably less than $275

Any opinions or suggestions of this?

Why not just buy a GG&G TID for $40 http://www.tadgear.com/edged tools/tid.htm ?
