A knife dealer friend of mine has an as new,in the bow Z2 for $45.What do you guys think of this light? Do the bulbs last a long time?

Like any average P60 assembly, it lasts about 30 hours before it has to be replaced.

You can of course shell out something extra. That'll double your runtime on one set of batteries, and you'll never have to replace it.

If it really is in like-new condition, a Z2 at $45 is an absolute steal.

Yes...that is a great price on a new one. I've used one around the place for checking on the dogs quite a bit...several sets of batts, and the bulb is still running fine. Nothing really compares to these type lights...a pocket spotlight really...doubt you will be disappointed.

PS..Thanks znode for posting the link to the P60L..was new to me, and a must have...very cool.

Thanks everyone,
znode, any idea exactly how long that P60L bulb will increase run time on the Z2?

I went ahead and bought it.I have the Box, papper work and registration.Looks like it was never used.

Will the warranty be good if it isn't registered?

Looks like the P60L bulb is the one to have in a survival situation.

P60, 50% brightness in 54 min. From the (now defunct) flashlightreviews.com

P60L in aluminum body (refer to the 6PL graph), 50% brightness at 3 hrs 18 min. From chevrofreak on cpf.

About 4 times as long it seems.

If you put the P60L in a plastic body (G2), it lasts even longer (280 min?), but puts out less light.
