Hey all,
I'm preparing to move, so I need to get rid of some stuff. One thing I don't want to move is my surface grinder. I like it, but it weighs a ton, and I just don't use it often enough to justify hauling it across several states.
It's a Brown and Sharpe model 2LB. It's got manual feeds, and an automatic oiler. I think the parts that move the spindle up and down need to be cleaned and lubricated, because it's hard to turn the crank in cold weather. There is some slop in the cross feed screw, but hasn't been an issue for me. If you're going to be doing some precision grinding, you'll probably want to fix that.
It comes with a rotary phase converter (the grinder is 3 phase), original owners manual, and a box of wheels. I'm asking $500, which is what I paid for it. I can't ship it, so you'll have to come and get it.
