Sorry about that Jerry. Your more than welcome to come over and use it any time. :D he he he I'm sure there are other tools you can spend your money on.

I'm not sure, but there seems there "might" be some hurt feelings because I ended up getting this tool. Let me just say that it was not my intention at all.
I had no idea who was interested/had bids on this item. I went to the man, we made a deal and shook hands. Thats how I like to do things.
Any of you are more than welcome to come to my shop and use this tool if you ever have need.
Also if anyone is interested I know of a machine in Bridgport CT. that may still be available. It's a bit larger and is three phase but looked to be in nice shape when I saw it.
I hope there are no hard feelings.

Don't worry about it Mace, no hurt feelings here. I'm just pissed at Ebay. When you bid on something and win it you are obligated to pay the seller. But it seems it is nopt the same for the sellers. I am tired of losing stuff because the seller has his friends keep bumping the bids up way too high, or as in this case he decided he could get a better deal from someone else and pulling the auction. I have had this happen in more than half of the auctions I have bid on in the last few months. But I keep going back for more :(. I guess I am a glutton for punishment. Believe me, I'm not upset with you at all. Sorry if it seemed that way.

I bought my Boyar Shultz from Mar Jen Machines in Bristol CT. Well worth the drive over there as they buy old machines and tooling from the out of business industrial companies in the Hartford area. When I was there last year they had 10 surface grinders to choose from. The prices ranged from $300-850. Look for them on Ebay and then email them.

Peter - if you happen to get this, what was the Boyar Shultz model that you picked up and how do you like it? Also, do you have it using belts rather than a wheel?

Watched your video again for about the fifteenth time this weekend - a spectacular resource. Found myself saying as you did in the video at one point "the only piece of machinery I really wish I have is a surfact grinder."

Thanks.
