Surface Grinder...Wheel or Belt?

Anyway.....I've been using wheels on it with no problem. However, I know that many convert these to use 2x72" belts and thought I would ask some of you who have made that choice to share your opinions on the subject. What are the pros and cons?

If you make Damascus, it is great with a belt for fast work. If you dont, I would leave it alone. Have a friend who has the same machine. Been trying to get it from him. Nice machine.
